QUEENS REALLY UP AGAINST IT AT INVERNESS

BOWEY-MAY BE BACK
A rather subdued Queens party left Dumfries this afternoon heading for an overnight stay in Aviemore before the vital fixture against Inverness Caley in the Highland Capital on Satrurday. Two players who will not be travelling are Gibson and Jaconelli who will be playing tonight at Palmy with the reserves. Queens must be really gutted after the narrow defeat at the hands of St Mirren on Wednesday evening but they must bounce back and hopefully turn in a better performance against Caley. Bowey and O'Connor may feature but it depends on the playing conditions. The Palmy pitch in midweek was very heavy and contributed a lot to Queens defeat whereas the bigger St Mirren team excelled. To be quite frank Queens are struggling in all departments at the moment and it will take a huge effort to acheive anything tomorrow. JC has bounced back in the past but I think this time we are really up against it and a draw is the best we can hope for.
