QUEENS TOP OF THE WORLD AS THEY HEAD FOR THE HIGHLANDS

As JC assembles his troops for the trip to the Highlands this afternoon there is great news for Queens fans with the news that defensive anchor man Brian Reid has signed for the rest of the season. This is indeed tremendous news as he has been a stalwart for Queens at the back so far this season. With this boost Queens can look forward with confidence to the rest of the league campaign. Another plus is that Derek lyle is now back in training and is not far off challenging for a first team place. As always it will be tough going at Dingwall tomorrow where the face Ross County and it will be interesting to see how Queen can handle the pressure of being at top of the league. On current form we should be able to overcome County but it will be touch and go and it will depend on who scores the opening goal. Even if we get defeated we will still be top as Inverness will be playing in the Challenge Cup but this is a chance for Queens to open up a gap even at this early in the season. I'm going for another Queens win purely because County are very vulnerable at the back.
