Queens influencial skipper Steve Bowey is struggling to make the start of the season after a freak incident whilst playing with his family on the beach. He sustained knee ligament damage and Queens are waiting to see if he needs an operation. This is a serious blow to Queens pre-season preperations and is really bad luck on Bowey who thought his injury worries which he endured last season had cleared up.

However there is some good news that crocked keeper Colin Scott is well on the road to the recovery as is striker Derek Lyle both of whom went through close season operations. Young defender Stuart Hill has also put pen to paper after his dispute and we wish him well for the future. Further news from Palmy is that season ticket prices have been held the same as last season and will be on sale in July.
