Under pressure Queens manager Iain Scott hit out at his critics in a revealing article published in todays Dumfries and Galloway Standard. Talking to the Standard's Giancarlo Rinaldi, Scott indicated that he is ready to take whatever criticisms comes his way as he fights to take the team back up the table. Scott also revealed the real fans will back him in this struggle. He quotes "The true supporters are there when results are not going well. Anyone can turn up when you are winning cups and leagues, that is easy". He also says "Everybody thinks they know the best way to play football and the best players to play but we are involved with this football club,we feel we know better-we see what is going on behind the scenes ". As regards every resigning Scott just shakes his head. According to him it is not even an issue and indicates that the Board of Directors are fully aware of all the good work being done by the club. The article which takes up a full page in the Standard , also describes Scott's relationship with John Connolly and his reasons for not moving to Perth with his old boss. The article goes some way to answer some of Scott's critics but it's results on the field that matter and everyone will be looking for some turn in fortune against
Airdrie United at Palmerston on Saturday.
