Who will partner Nelly?
The big day has arrived and Queens kick-off the new season in Division 1 with a tough fixture against a confident Clyde side who are now well established in the division. The championship flag will be raised at 2.45 so please be there early. A crowd of 4,000 is expected and it is vital that Queens get of to a good start with a win. I have every confidence they will do so as they have the players to hurt other teams with the likes of Weatherson,Lyle and O'Neill. The signing of a personality like Andy Goram further strenghthens the cause. JC as usual is not giving much away as far as his team but he must surely start with Aitken and Allen as the anchor men at the back and perhaps Lyle pairing Weatherson up front. There will be plenty of competition for midfield places but he must start with O'Neill. It should be a cracker and Clyde have a reputation for playing good football.
